Person Centered Care
I believe autonomy can facilitate personal growth and wellbeing, and that individuals often struggle to understand their own autonomy in situations that seem out of their control. I work to help people identify and engage with their healing and personal growth through action-based interventions. When a person is able to identify areas of life that are within their control, they can better manage situations that feel overwhelming and negatively impact their health, functioning, and wellbeing.
I specialize in CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectic Behavioral Therapy), and action-based interventions. Additionally, I hold a certification in perinatal mental health (PMH-C) and have experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I utilize an eclectic, holistic, and collaborative approach to treat individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, perinatal disorders (i.e. postpartum disorders), and changes associated with infertility, pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, parenting, and rediscovering the new you.
